False Ceiling and Drywall Installer Course

Course Description

After successful completion of the False Ceiling and Drywall Installer course, Trainee will be liable for concluding preceding activities before installation of false ceiling and drywalls as well as marking, cutting, measurement, and fixing of the drywall boards for drywall installation.
The trainees will be able to work across varied locations in extreme weather/site conditions and are predicted to be work physically. The Trainee should be able to handle the different installing false ceiling tools and able to work with a team.

False Ceiling and Drywall Installer Course

Application National Occupational Standards (NOS) of False Ceiling and Drywall Installer course:

1. To Dismantle and Erect the temporary scaffold of 3.6-meter heights.
This OS unit describes the skills and knowledge required to erect and dismantle 3.6-meter temporary scaffold
2. Handle, use and identify the power tools that relevant to the installation of false ceiling and dry walls
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to identify, handle and use hand and power tools relevant to façade installation.
3. Measure, mark and cut the gypsum, plaster, fiber and composite boards for false ceiling and dry wall installation
This unit describes the knowledge and skills that required cutting, mark and measure the plaster, fiber, gypsum and composite boards for false ceiling and drywall installation.
4. Fix the dry walls board with fasteners for installing drywall sheets on walls
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to fix the dry walls board for installing drywall sheets on walls with fasteners.
5. A team to deliver desired results at the workplace
This occupational standards (OS) unit describes the abilities and information needed to figure effectively among a team to attain the specified results.
6. Work according to the environment, personal health, safety protocol at the construction site
This National Operational standard covers the ability and information needed for an individual to figure consistent with personal health, safety and environmental protocol at the construction site.
